“Your perspective will either become your prison or passport”
Perspective is important because it shapes how we perceive and interact with the world around us. Importance Of Perspective is that it helps us to better understand situations from another’s position and take into consideration other beliefs, experiences, and view points.
Adopt a positive attitude
A man used to earn his living by selling balloons in the fair. He had balloons of red, blue, yellow, green, and many other colors. When his sales started falling, he would release a balloons filled with helium gas into the air.
Whenever children saw that flying balloon, they become eager to get a similar balloon. They would approach him to buy balloons, and the man’s sales would start increasing again. Whenever that man’s sales decreased, he used this method of blowing balloons to increase them and this is the importance of perspective.
One day the balloonist felt that someone was pulling his jacket. He turned and saw a child standing there. The child asked him, ” If you release a black balloon in the air, will it also fly?” This question of child touched the heart of the balloon seller. Turning to the child, Importance Of Perspective is that he replied, “Son, the balloon flies not because of its color, but because of what is filled inside it.”
The same principle applies in our lives also. The important thing is our inner nature. Importance Of Perspective is the attitude we develop because of our inner personality is what lifts us up.
William James of Harvard University says, the greatest discovery of our generation is that man can improve his life by changing his perspective.
Our Attitude Contributes To Success
According to a study conducted by Harvard University, 85% of the time a person gets a job or promotion because of his attitude, while only 15%of the time it is because of intelligence or knowledge of specific facts and figures. It is available only on it is surprising that facts and figures have only 15% share in achieving success in life, but the entire amount of education money is spent on teaching these things.
Importance Of Perspective that attitude is the most important word in the English language. It affects of life, even a person’s personal and professional life. Can a man become a good student without a good attitude? Can a student become good student without a good attitude? Can a parent, teacher, salesman, boss or employee play their role well without a good attitude?
Whatever be our field, the foundation of success is attitude. If perspective is so important to success, shouldn’t we examine our perspective on life and ask ourselves how our perspective might affect our goals?
Acres of diamonds
Hafeez was a farmer from Africa. He was happy and satisfied with his life. Hafeez was happy because he was satisfied. He was satisfied because he was happy. One day a wise man came to him. He told Hafeez about the importance of diamonds and the power associated with them.
He said to Hafeez, “If you had a diamond as big as your thumb, you can buy the whole city, and if you had a diamond as big as your fist, you could probably buy the whole country for yourself.” The wise man said this and went away. Hafeez could not sleep that night. He was dissatisfied, hence his happiness was also gone.
Early the next morning, Hafeez made an arrangements to sell his fields and take care of his family, and set out to find the diamonds. He wandered throughout Africa in search of diamonds, but could not find them.
He also looked for them in Europe, but they could not find him there either meet. By the time he reached Spain, he was completely broken mentally, physically and financially. He was so depressed that he committed suicide by jumping into the Barcelona river.
One day the man who had bought Hafeez’s fields was watering his camels in the drain that ran through those fields. Then the rays of the rising morning sun fell on a stone lying on the other side of the drain, and it sparkled like a rainbow.
Thinking that the stone would look good in his living room, he picked it up and decorated it in his living room. That same afternoon, the man who had told Hafeez about the diamonds came to the new owner of the fields. Looking at the shining stone he asked, ” Has Hafeez returned?” The new owner replied, “No, but why did you ask that question?” The wise man replied, “Because it is a diamond. I recognize them as soon as I see them.”
The new owner said, “No, it is just a stone. I have picked it up from near the drain. Came, let me show you. There are many such tones lying there. He bought many of them as sample from there. They found that there were diamonds buried far and wide in that field.
What lesson we do learn from this story?
- Importance Of Perspective when our perspective is right, we feel that we are walking on land full of diamonds. Opportunities are always lying beneath our feet. We don’t need to go anywhere in search of them. We just have to recognize them.
- The grass in someone else’s always looks green.
- We are tempted by the things others have. Similarly, others are tempted by the things we have. They will be glad to have the opportunity to exchange their places with us.
- Importance Of Perspective to those who do not recognize the opportunity, the knocking of the opportunity seems like noise.
- Importance Of Perspective when an opportunity comes, people do not recognize its importance. When the opportunity starts coming, we run after it.
- No opportunity knocks again. The second chance may be better or worse than the first, but it cannot be exactly the same as the first. Importance Of Perspective that is why it is important to take the right decision at the right time. Even the right decision taken at the wrong time becomes a wrong decision.
